JOIN NURAI CONNECT 90 - ACROSS TASMANIA — DEVONPORT TO HOBART

About This Event

Join NURAI CONNECT 90 across Tasmania as the national movement connects communities from Devonport through northern and eastern Tasmania to Hobart.

From 16–21 March 2027, the Tasmania chapter begins in Devonport following the Bass Strait transition from Victoria and continues through Burnie and the North-West, Launceston, the East Coast and St Helens, Greater Hobart and Hobart.

Tasmania offers a distinct chapter of the national programme, bringing NURAI CONNECT’s Human Connection and Economic Connection model into island communities, regional centres and the state capital. The focus is on creating spaces where people can meet, listen, share what they need and what they can offer, and build practical connections that can continue beyond the programme’s visit.

Human Connection activities may include community listening, Connection Circles, community tables, purposeful introductions and appropriate referral pathways. Economic Connection activities may bring together people, employers, businesses, service providers, training pathways and other opportunities through practical introductions and local engagement.

The chapter concludes with the Tasmania CONNECT DAY in Hobart on 21 March 2027, bringing together learning, relationships and opportunities developed across the chapter before the national programme continues toward the Australian Capital Territory.

ONE CONNECTION CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING.
