About This Event

Join NURAI CONNECT 90 across the Australian Capital Territory for a focused three-day chapter connecting people, communities and opportunities across Canberra’s metropolitan districts.

From 24–26 March 2027, the ACT chapter will engage communities across Civic, Belconnen, Gungahlin, Woden and Tuggeranong, bringing NURAI CONNECT’s Human Connection and Economic Connection model into the national capital.

Unlike the longer road-based state chapters, the ACT programme is designed as a concentrated metropolitan activation. It creates opportunities for residents, community organisations, employers, businesses, education and training providers, service organisations, volunteers and other participants to connect across different parts of Canberra.

Human Connection activities will focus on belonging, listening, purposeful introductions, community participation and practical pathways to continued connection. Economic Connection activities will support introductions between people, skills, employers, businesses, training pathways, service providers and other opportunities.

The chapter culminates in Canberra CONNECT DAY on 26 March 2027, bringing together Human Connection, Economic Connection, cross-sector participation and chapter learning before the national programme continues into New South Wales.
